Windows of NTU Licensing (E-Book)
National Taiwan University museums have continually digitized valuable collections in order to preserve cultural assets and disseminate knowledge. Besides providing online browsing, the museums also grant commercial and non-commercial authorization, in the hopes to promote the exercise of the authority of digitized collection materials and the value-added application of the collections. Digitized resources to which authorization can be granted include books and archives, animals and plants, insect specimen, photos of ecological lives, audio and video materials, images of archaeological and anthropological resources, and geological images among others. Currently authorized digital collection materials and value-added products that have been authorized to be published are presented as e-books that can be browsed much like reading a standard book.
